Aussie Online Snow Shops

I spend a lot of time browsing American websites such as 'www.the-house.com' and 'www.usoutdoorstore.com' they have thousands of different items and show all current prices ect.. sometimes it makes me want to move to america so i can score snowboard gear so cheap. You can still purchase stuff on these websites but the postage rate is anywhere between $70 - $99 US ontop of your purchase.

Anyway i think Australia lacks some sort of mega online snow shop but having said that i do spend some time on 'www.rhythm.net.au' which is probably the closest thing we have but unfortunatly it lacks variety.

If you havn't been on any of these sites then check them out.
Heres the comparrision:

Unfortunately most American sites don't ship Burton boards or outerwear, not sure why but you can see the amount you can save, even if you added $100 shipping you would still be saving but i think when it comes to a snowboard i would prefer to pick mine out of the rack rather then order anything off the internet.

  1. Hey matt,

this is a great post. as are you others.
I love how you have actually talked about something interesting and highly relevant, the economy, but made it sweet and not boring!

Try and start posting in snow related message boards and get your blog out there!

And facebook too. Make a fan page, and then make a friend "group" and then add people. But when you add them, add them do your "snow" group, which you can then set limitations on so they can't see all your photos and personal shit on your profile. Get me?

Looks sick so far. Could still tweek a few laylout things, but I like the purple and white.
I can help you make a layout like mine if you like ;)
