Big Snowfalls Ahead

I was going to post earlier about this one but i decided id wait until it was closer to actually happening. With 3 days out i woke up this morning for a quick look at the charts to see a very promising update!

The weak high that's settling over WA is pushing the deep southern low right into perfect position for a solid dumping of snow. There seems to be a great deal of moisture on the cards for most of next week also. The only slight problem is that cold line. Perisher is forecast for +1 for the valley for Wednesday which could possible make this more of a wet snowfall rather then a some soft dry snow.

So keep the eyes on the cams Tuesday night and Wednesday and hopefully by next Sunday we will have well over a metre of snow on the ground.
